Full Roast Barley Coffee (Caffeine free)

500g Barley

Preheat oven to 230c

Spread barley evenly in a large baking tray.

Roast in the oven for around 50-60 minutes shaking the tray every 15 mins to get an even roast. Once it reaches a rich dark chocolate colour remove from oven.
Allow to cool then grind fine before use.


Use 1-2 heaped teaspoons per cup, add boiling water then stir well. Within 30 seconds grounds will have settled and you can drink. 
Alternatively, you can use a French press to avoid grounds.
