Foreword
For me, sharing food, cooking and the kitchen is the foundation of a good quality of life. We all have to eat! Whilst growing up, the kitchen invariably was the centre and where we as a family spent most of our quality time together. What I find most important to those interested in food and cooking is to look upon the kitchen as a place to relax, have fun and enjoy doing something we all have to do to live, eating food.
In today's busy lifestyle, many find it a chore or hard work to create something to fuel themselves or family. Rarely the difficulty is no more than the way we look at cooking, relax! There are a few rules you really have to follow in the kitchen, it's your space you can do what you want. If any, they are usually related to dessert or baking which is part of a meal but not integral and can be very specific.
I hope to give some basics, the odd recipe, and anything else that you may find interesting or useful to expand your enjoyment in the kitchen.
