Quick Easy Pizza, on the table in 25 minutes!



Makes 1 x 14-16" pizza

Dough:

2 Cups Flour (I like wholemeal but any will do)

1 Cup Water

1 level tsp Bicarbonate of soda

2 tbsp Olive oil

1/2 tsp Salt

Pizza sauce:

1/2 can chopped tomatoes or passata

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tbsp Olive oil

1/2 tsp Sugar (puts the sunshine back in the tomatoes)

1 tsp Oregano

Chilli to taste (optional)

1/2 tsp crushed Garlic (optional)

Method:

Preheat the oven to the max.

Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl at once. 

Mix to form a soft but not sticky dough, using a spatula, adding a little extra flour if needed.

Do not overwork the dough!

Put on a floured work surface and roll out to the desired size then put in Pizza tin or baking sheet.

Add sauce and toppings of your choice, remember putting too much on toppings slows cooking so will need a longer time to cook.

Bake 15-20 minutes.
