Let's start with where I've been for nearly a year. A little lost and not really in the mood for creativity or writing. My best friend Dave Green, was finally allowed to travel home from Australia at the back end of 2023. He'd been unable to travel, as whilst visiting family down under he was diagnosed with cancer. He was treated there with months of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments. Sadly, when he returned, he was no longer strong enough to keep going to his allotment where we used to meet for a cuppa and a blether. My friend fought on longer than the doctors expected but passed in June this year.
I hope to try adding to my blog soon, as I have a few ideas but I'm trying this wee note to explain my absence first.
